I think most will agree that Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi are the two best players since the turn of the century. Anyone who doesn’t is just plain wrong but who would you rate as the 3rd best player of the century?
For me I’d go Ronaldinho.
For about 3-4 years the guy was sensational. Some of the things he did on the pitch were breath taking. Probably my favourite non United player ever. The fact the he got an applause at the Bernabéu told it all. It’s a pity that his attitude became problem but I’d still rate him as probably 3rd best player this century.
Honourable mentions:
Xavi
Many will disagree but I’d probably put him 4th. Best midfielder I’ve seen in my lifetime and was the catalyst for the great Spain and Barca sides. There was a 4-5 year period where it felt like he never lost the ball let alone have a bad game.
Zidane
Amazing at his best. What a player who created so many magical moments. Arguably had a few seasons where he wasn’t that great though.
Ronaldo
The Brazilian version. Again an amazing player. One of the greatest taken ever but played his best football in the 90’s so he’s probably top 10 this century.
Henry
Best PL player in history imo taking everything into account. Arguably did not do enough outside of the English domestic game though to be up there with the very best. Arsenal fans won’t thank me but he probably moved to Spain 2-3 years too late.
Suarez
Love him or loath him the guy is sensational. His last season at Liverpool and 2nd season at Barca in particular were ridiculous. Probably doesn’t get the plaudits his game deserves because of his reputation and that he plays in the same era as Ronaldo and Messi but he’s right up there with the best imo.

I’m self employed, and while I’ve been able to continue working to an extent, I’ve lost 35% of my business.
I find out tomorrow how much I’ll get through the self-employee scheme. All I know at this moment is that I’m eligible.
