Simple yes or no

Reading the opinions from Jonty and VOF just above it does seem like a domesday scenario...can the football authorities allow such a situation where the morale and disillusionment of fans and many clubs would be a very serious issue...they must find a way through this impasse and finish the season.
I still think it's not beyond our ken to look at the situation sometime in July to make a start in August and behind closed doors, with the hope that the virus is well in control.
As far as I'm concerned if they abandon this season and decide to compensate such as Leeds and WBA, well they can stick that where the sun doesn't shine.
My disillusionment with football will be complete!

I could live with no promotion IF football reset itself.

Furloughing is going to be phased out, clubs with hundreds of staff are going to be in real trouble.

Let's reset what footballer wages should be, lets reset how tv changes fixtures days and times, lets get away from wall to wall football every single day and see it as something special again.

I hope the world changes after all this and hope football sees that it has to as well.

Not sure it's domesday NJS, but it's a real crossroads for football I believe.

Like Jonty I can and would accept no promotion if football takes a long hard look and does a reset of some sorts.

I'd also want some sort of compo from the Prem league to offset the impact on the clubs lower down - i.e. the parachute payments, league prizes divvied up.

Well I do agree with the opinions and sentiments expressed by Jonty and VOF with football resetting itself with ref to the obscene salaries, transfer fees and cutting down tv of live games....if that happens shame it took a pandemic to open people's eyes, football is a game for everyone not just for people with fat wallets!

Government say no Professional sport until June 1st which is inline with the targeted start dates of the premier league.

Will allow 2 months as required for the leagues to finish before July 31st.

Obviously this is only possible if all goes to plan. But fingers crossed it will.

1. I can see the season just being voided, even with all the problems that will cause

2. I can see the season finishing with closed grounds after a lot of haggling, possibly with a small number of grounds

3. I can see proposals for promotion and relegation that get pushed through without matches played, but then reversed due to legal cases

4. I can't see any acceptance of providing Leeds and WBA some free money - the whole impetus is against the parachute payments, not doling out money to those who did not achieve it

4. I can't see
