Unbeatable record possible?

Will they set another record, which no-one will ever beat?

No team has led at Christmas and failed to win the PL as many times, currently 4 times, not including this season...

No team has ever been top on New Years day and failed to win the league aside from them...

Aaaand for this new, probably unbeatable record, could they become the first team ever to have a 25 point lead in May and still blow it?

All eyes on this week for the fate of what would go down in history as the single greatest team in the history of premier league chokers...

I’ve never said that Liverpool haven’t been very good I just feel that 25 points between them and City isn’t a true reflection of where both teams are at.

What?! That’s ridiculous. How any one can argue that Liverpool aren’t good for their point lead, and absolutely deserving champions, is beyond me.

I get 606 has some thoroughly deluded fans and it tears them up to admit when our biggest rival are currently one of, if not THE, best team in Europe, but credit where credit is due. They have a great team, have played (consistently) great football and have developed the ability to grind out results when they need to. City have regressed in that sense, thus the point spread.

They should be (begrudgingly) congratulated and we should accept our priorities lie no longer in title winning conversations, but battling for 4th and 5th.

Articles like this is the biggest fear of Liverpool fans.
They are capable of winning the league again even if this season is canceled. However, I hope we find a way to finish the season otherwise, we'll never hear the end of it.

Having said that, number 6 is bigger than the PL anyway. That's what we were told last season.

I think it is. City are approaching a rebuilding phase. We have never seen Pep do this.

I think we will be champions whether the season is completed or not.

I also said the league was already won.

Aside from results, Liverpools form wasn't good. West Ham should have beaten them for example.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No West Ham should not have beaten Liverpool ffs. Did you watch the game? We pummeled them the whole game with 70% possession and 25 shots.

Number 6 is not bigger than the PL. The pinnacle of club football is what most people would prioritise over the PL, however having just won it, I'm sure most Liverpool fans would have wanted the league over CL, this season.

Liverpool learnt how to grind out results even when not playing well, the mark of champions.

City lost their two most important layers this season, Laporte and Fernandinho in DCM.

It would be like Liverpool losing VVD and playing Henderson at CB.

No it wouldn't.

Also you said Liverpool should have lost to West Ham despite pummeling them the whole game with 70% possession and 25 shots, was that Liverpool grinding out a result when not playing well? Do you even watch the games?

Boycott the Bundesliga. People are dying. We must not let BT send out the message that football is more important than health
