You posted that BAME footballers are 3 times as likely to die as white players, which is a false claim at this point.

More research is needed before you can make claims like that, at this point it's misrepresenting information. I've given reasons why I think that and you responded with a study that also gave those same reasons. I also said that it's multiple factors and nothing conclusive.

I never trivialised anything, it's insulting that you're suggesting that. This discussion is over, the comment was uncalled for.

When you say someone’s scaremongering you’re trivialising their concern.

I shouldn’t have said players, should have just saud people but point about BAME being higher risk is valid, whatever the background factors.

The point of the article is to prove those numbers are valid when you said it was scaremongering as if it was something made up to distract from some other reason.

I just explained about players/people.

The lancet article does support the fact that death rate higher amongst BAME than white.

I thought you were saying he was scaremongering hence the comments.

Really not sure how lancet can mention these figures yet you say they’re not correct.

I've not once said that these figures were incorrect. I said there are multiple factors for them (which are all mentioned in the study!!!) and at this point, it's false to claim BAME players are more likely to die than white players.

Read through the comments again and stop accusing me of saying things that I haven't.
