Brandon Williams

Proper decent Manc lad. Didn’t realise he grew up only about 2km away from me (albeit 20 years later ).

Still goes down to the park at Harpurhey to have kickabouts with the kids from the estate.

Would love it if we had a squad of 25 local boys as grounded, hardworking and committed as him.

Should be be going down the park to have kickabouts with anyone rn? Sounds like a breach of quarantine to me...

Did you read the first line, ‘filmed before quarantine’

Reminds me of playing out with friends in Boothstown after school and seeing Eric Cantona return home from training, drop off his boot bag and come right back out for a kick about on the village green.

I'm interested, is he a natural left back or was he played there out of necessity, with him being right-footed, I believe.

He can play either side but in recent years has been mostly a left back for the club.

Seems like a good lad with the right attitude. Not afraid of ruffling a few feathers either.

Hopefully he has a big future.

bags of talent and also rapid. He came at the right time and has pushed Shaw on also. we now have two top options at LB/LWB who counter balance each other well.

Chelsea v Man Utd at Stamford bridge this year him and willian seemed to be having a competition of who could play worse. They were head to head and both having awful games. But a few Utd mates think he’s decent. Good on ole for trusting in him

Him, Rashford and McTominay should be the reference point for all the academy players. Differing levels of talent but they’ve been exemplary with their work to force themselves into the first team reckoning.

Woah, i pass this exact area often on the way to work (before lockdown). Never knew it was local to Brandon Williams

Really nice to see a local lad embracing his roots and still keeping it real. Love the fact that his mother is still (before lockdown?) running that local cafe in the market.

This reminds me of another local talented youth in Marcus Rashford and another up and coming youth in Jesse Lingard.

Exotic

Fair point, he is an estate lad who obvs feels privelleged to be doing what he does, that he is also a more than decent player is a bonus, takes no sheite either and that I love
