Jude Bellingham

It’s a rumour that isn’t going away.

Apparently we see him as ready to be part of the first team squad right away.

I’ve never seen him play but he must have something about him to be playing regularly at 16 even in the Championship.

If he is our only midfield signing of the summer would you be happy with this?

He is a decent player, but its his age that sells, at just 16, he has immense potential. There are better players in the championship right now, but not anywhere near 16 years of age. Eze, Periera, Harrison are all very good and all under 24.

Seen him play live at Ashton gate. Ran the show to be fair.

tbh I know nothing about the lad but he is 16
who was the last 16 year old midfielder to come into a team of utds status and have the kind of effect in central midfield as we are hoping for

I honestly cannot think of any cms in the last 20 years
so I am not buying that he will come into the team and be performing at the level we require. There will be a lot of teething and growing up to do. I wil rather garner had those opportunities instead

That gilmour kid for chelsea did, came in and took what 3 motm’s in row, completely outplayed Liverpool’s midfield and outshone his own players. Roy keane was raving about him. Maybe we should buy him instead of Bellingham ? If Bellingham has that kids football intelligence then, maybe he could fit in right away..

All sounds a bit Nick Powell-y to me.

Completely outplayed Liverpool's midfield

He had a good game. Settle down.

He looks a real talent and had a good game but let's not make silly statements about him 'completely' outplaying Liverpool's makeshift midfield of Fabinho, Lallana and Jones, where Chelsea had only 42% of the possession, despite Liverpool's weakened lineup, with Adrian, Williams, Lallana, Jones, Minamino and Origi all getting rare starts.

Never heard of Gilmour but if he's even half as good as Bellingham then he has a bright future. It's hard to compare someone who is essentially a United first teamer though with someone who can barely get a game for Chelsea reserves in the Carling cup.

Gone from denial to excuses really quickly there
