Happy News

The sun is shining and we are getting a few days of sunshine before a drizzly weekend then another glorious week next week.

The death figures continue to drop at a steady rate and by my estimation using knuckles to measure it out we will be below 100 deaths a day consistently within 3 weeks. Proper scientific measuring took place.

I don't mean to make light of vast numbers of deaths but it shows there is now light at the end of the tunnel. The NHS can now handle the impact of huge numbers and people are being far far more sensible when out and about.

Lockdown measures will start to be reduced with guidance on how businesses can operate as safely as possible. Then it is quite simply fingers crossed it doesn't have a second wave that is too high to manage.

Those struggling with the mental health aspects of lockdown will hopefully recover as the lockdown eases. I expect that those who can work from home will continue to do so for the majority of the time where possible.

The return to a new normal is upon us.

Take a tip from zach, put some chickens in your pockets and head for the exit. Chances are you’ll get a few conversations with security, plod, big Leroy in cell 69....

Things looking better but remember, that light at the end of the tunnel might be the headlight of a train coming at you. Still need to be careful or the efforts we have made so far will have been wasted.

I feel there will be far too many innocent victims in all of this mate.

one's that could have been avoided, there already are in fact, with care homes.
