With pictures of crowded beaches

yesterday, and the virus still out there, it is inevitable in three or four weeks time we will be back to square one. The whole idea of lockdown was to keep the virus at bay. Yesterday showed how many idiots there really are out there.

With the Bank Holiday weekend on the horizon, I can see an impending disaster looming once again. Why are people so stupid. The virus has not gone away, and a second wave is almost inevitable.

Why do so many people think a couple of hours of pleasure, is so much more important than life itself?

I really do despair of the human race.

Don't talk bollox man. They remain the most respected health organisation on the planet.

Wind in your Trump-rimming act.

Yet Beeb thinks "Covid-19" is going to be the first ever coronavirus / rhinovirus that stays forever.

Even Influenza strains change every year and the same one doesn't stay forever.

Science/Reality/History tells us they eventually burn out and fack off naturally for the most part, so please don't try and talk crap, the WHO have changed their opinion and guidelines pretty much every 2 weeks for the past 3 months so forgive me for not giving a $hit what those buffoons say

... yes, they've all disappered, haven't they?

And anyone who quotes medical advice from a weather-forecasting website, like you have, well...

Your next question will be to ask why I am laughing at you.

John Hopkins University and Imperial College are just two the leading authorities on this subject and both have also declared Covid-19 to be endemic.

"it'll just burn out."

Moron.

Even a five year old can distinguish between a mutation of the same pathogen and its demise.

You, however, cannot.

Nothing moronic about suggesting that the virus could be on the way out and also nothing to suggest there will be a second wave at present.

A bit of optimism wouldn't go amiss here.

Lots of countries coming out of lockdown are not seeing any increase in infections - we can only hope for the same, can't we.

Has anyone read the latest from Oxford Uni - specifically the lady who first raised suggestions about just how widespread immunity might be?

She's the latest to say it could die out.

Whether that is literally true maybe another matter, but it's not really the point, is it?

So much focus on the negatives when the truth is, the majority of the UK are scared and even when they're told they can return to normal, probably won't for a long time.
