I along with many other Forest supporters will never ever forget the sense of justification we got when John Aldridge sat in a heap in the middle of the Anfield ground crying having lost the title to Arsenal with the last kick of the ball in 1989.
It was absolute sweet justice to what had happened a few weeks previously
When Forest lost the Hillsborough replay semi-final at Old Trafford to Liverpool, our right back Brian laws sadly scored an own goal. John Aldridge couldn’t help himself, but to run over to the defender who was distraught at scoring an own goal, and unsportingly ruffled out defenders hair with glee at his misfortune
Forest supporters have never forgot that and never forgiven Aldridge for being so cruel and unsporting
ROLL ON A COUPLE OF WEEKS - the final game of these Season - we all know Arsenal needed a 2 goal victory against Liverpool at Anfield
Step up Michael Thomas, last kick of the game, 0:2 - Arsenal CHAMPIONS 🤣
I will never forget John Aldridge, distraught sitting down crying on the pitch - but unlike his lousy attitude, an Arsenal player, sportingly, went over to him and console him by putting him arm round his shoulder
What did Aldridge do? Well, once a miserable sore loser, always one
Aldridge, totally threw a strop, pushed the Arsenal player away and continued to sit there wallowing in his own misery 😂🤣😂
It was for me, and many other Forest supporters, absolute Karma, total justice to witness
When Brian Laws unfortunately scored an own goal, Aldridge could help himself, but to sarcastically rub it in and laugh at him
Yet when a Arsenal player graciously, offers friendship, support and care to Aldridge in his time of sadness, it got thrown back in his face
As I said, once a sore, miserable, unsporting loser....always one 🤣
One of the BEST sporting moment of all time! 👍🏼

I'm glad that you get to fondly recall your most cherished football moment from the last 41 years.
I didn't realise that being a Forest fan was so difficult. Imagine your team doing so little of note in 41 years that your best sporting moments of all time is that a player from another team didn't win the cup.

I think my BEST sporting moment of all time is the fact that MY team were and still are the last British Club to retain the European Cup after 40 years, and we still hold that honour 👍🏼

40 years counting and it hasn't been beaten yet, and there’s no sign of it happening anytime soon either 😂

And if and whenever it does get beat...it was at still a great moment and memory to have - just think, Liverpool only had that honour for 1 year, we’ve had it for the last 40 and still counting 😂
