Positives

With debt up and income down, hopefully this means clubs will stop trying to take us to the cleaners on transfer fees.

Takes two to tango.

If you are given a price on a player then you can say no you know.

Why would any club sell a player for below market value,if they have an asset that another club wants then they have every right to squeeze the last penny out of the deal

Well it certainly means we will have less money.

The positive is more that in the near future and possibly beyond it will become more of a buyers market than a sellers.

There could be bargains out there, players being sold not because they are surplus to requirements, but because they are a clubs biggest asset and have to be sold to balance the books

Market value is what clubs are prepared to pay

Not if it's a player you don't want to sell

Clubs will still have their own value on players... How much negotiation or how far they are willing to drop that price will be more down to how the virus has impacted their own finances rather than ours

Could be a strange summer... A lot of clubs will be worse off than us and there could be some decent value deals about... At the same time there might be little movement of top players or between top clubs
