Current Football Climate

I think we all can agree, this is not how we pictured 2020 would turn out even in our wildest dreams. 25pts clear and walking the league without getting out of third gear in 75% of our games. Stuff of folklore if you ask me.

Now we look like taking one of the most tainted titles in recent memory since Calciopoli (until City get found guilty in court).

Anyways speaking of Covid-19 and the impact it's had on the game, do we think that heading should still be allowed in matches? Should we still be allowing dinosaur managers like Jose Mourinho, David Moyes, Dean Dyche, Graham Potter and the likes to continue their brand of hoofball that obviously not only succumbs their own players to the virus but the opposition as well. Should these managers and their style of play actually be banned from the sport? Peoples lives are at risk here.

Graham Potter does not play hoofball. He's a very modern coach.

Also I don't want to take away heading as some managers actually think this is how to beat us and they launch it into the box constantly, which causes VVD to put down his pipe and slippers and head it out.

There's nothing tainted about anything thanks. don't be peddling wums bitter lines.

while the most apt meme I've seen is Doc Brown telling Marty whatever he does don't ever travel to 2020, that does not mean anyone has done anything wrong here.

We will win the title in a canter and were two games from having it done.

The guys at the bottom have far more to lose and will be crying unfair no matter which of them go down.

as for heading.... get real. This is part of the game and it has an impact on concussion that needs to be understood. This is however not yankball where people in helmets slam their heads together as a matter of course.

Lets start with stronger actions for removing players with extra subs for concussion assessment AND automatic red cards for the types who go for head shots to take players out.

you know that some managers would send players out to catch a vvd with an arm if you could get him off the park. It happened in rugby and the authorities had to add severe rules to take it out.
