Police aren't institutionally racist...

Studies have been carried, which include actual statistics. Which shows that black people do not get killed on average more than white people from encounters with police.

It is disgusting how people are so willing to label men and women who risk their lives every day, trying to protect people as racists based on the action of a very few.

It would be like seeing a clip of a soldier treating a hostage badly and stating all soldiers are evil. Or a nurse treat a patient badly, and stating the majority of nurses are evil, and going out and smashing up your local corner shop.

It is even worse when people condone rioting which has involved destroying small business, and attacking anyone who stands in their way.
The power that media has to brainwash people is crazy.

But keep on believing that the USA police force is full of racists who want to hurt and kill black people, for no reason.

Two studies below.

I will not respond to any comments in this thread, and I am sure it will be deleted because it does not fit the narrative of labeling the majority of police officers as racist. But facts don't care about peoples feelings.

"On the most extreme use of force – officer-involved shootings – we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account. We argue that the patterns in the data are consistent with a model in which police officers are utility maximizers, a fraction of which have a preference for discrimination, who incur relatively high expected costs of officer-involved shootings." https://www.nber.org/papers/w22399

Consistent with our findings, simulation studies find police are no more likely to fire on unarmed blacks than unarmed whites,

https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2018-08/ru-bpb080818.php

44 millions African Americans in USA, 245 killed by cops last years, 9 were unarmed. 0.00006% of population.

Institutional racism though.

It’s sad that a couple people are on here trying to use amateur psychology to explain why they think black people are the way they are but don’t even try to look into why these white cops are the way they are.

The only conclusion I can make is that these people genuinely think these cops are doing they only thing they can faced with these ‘fatherless black people’ and have sympathy for thuggish cops. Or else they’d spend the crux of the debate trying to work out why these cops are the way they are.

What happened to George Floyd is a crime. I fully support the officer going through due process and hopefully found guilty. The other officers are complicit as well.

But it’s simply asinine to tar all police officers as racist as many have been doing. And there are fools on here who believe that police shouldn’t be taking actions against protesters who become violent.

So, wind your neck in.

All I’m going to say is that I am happy that I live in an area where I don’t have to worry about a bunch of thugs burning sh!t down like in those Democrat controlled areas like LA, Chicago, or New York.

The protests where I live have been peaceful except for the couple of idiots trying to start trouble - and they were dealt with swiftly. But the main thing is that protesters know that if they attempted to riot in my city, there are many like myself who would have no problem hosting them down and I’m not talking about water.

You touch my home or business and you get it between the eyes...and I sleep like a baby later. AND the law would be on my side.
