Set to return 17th June

Well, if things go according to plan, football in England will restart on Wednesday 17th June. Fitting all the games in by the end of July will mean games being played on top of one and another. Long weekend matches between Friday and Monday and weekday matches from Tuesday through Thursday. I understand that tomorrow is the day when the new fixture list and dates will be decided and I'm sure there will be managers not happy with their players having to play so many games in such short a time. We at Wolves at least have been used to that all season.

I'm sure Sir Halfy can't wait to post his now world famous match threads and I'll be posting the amended Round 30 fixtures for the HC League as soon as they come out. I hope that Penshawdave will be also continue and complete his competition too.

Round 30 of my comp. will now be 12 matches as Man City v Arsenal and Aston Villa v Sheffield Utd are the odd games which have to be completed first. After that all teams will have 9 games remaining.

Good thing is, all games will be shown live.

I think some teams (Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs) should be made to play all their games in one long weekend. 1 game every 9 hours should be OK.

I wont believe its happening until I see Gem's West Ham match preview up on here.

Premier League teams will be able to make five substitutions, rather than three, in each match to the end of the season after clubs approved new rules.

Teams will also be able to name nine substitutes instead of the usual seven.

Though teams can now make five substitutions, each will only have three opportunities to make changes throughout the match in order to minimise disruption to the game.

Anyone know if these are all going to be free to air?

Normal week for us with a Thursday game, our games are a mixture of three against sides fighting relegation, which will be tough but should get points as we are better than them, a few against teams with nothing to play for and only a couple against sides around us so I am confident of s good haul of points, will be interesting to see how many subs we will use or need to use

What a load of nonsense. They shouldn't just change rules three quarter of the way through the season.

Do we have 20 players?

Only 20 players have played for us in the league this season. And two of those, Cutrone and Bennett aren't here any more.

17 year old Christian Marques has been added to the first team squad. He has been captaining the U23s and playing in the Coady position

Never been sure that home advantage means anything in behind closed doors games. And the Bundesliga games since they restarted have emphasised that point.

Approx one quarter of the games have been home wins, another quarter have been draws, and half have been away wins.
