Most Clutch Goals

I saw Bleacher Report's IG earlier posting clips from the 2014 UCL Final and, of course, we all remember Sergio Ramos' 93rd minute header to tie the game and force overtime.

Real went on to win the game 4-1 in overtime and claim the title. Probably the best clutch goal I've ever seen in football - given that it was a score-or-go-home situation on a big stage, and it was a brilliant header.

What other contenders are there for Most Clutch Goal?

Bale was pretty "clutch" for us in his last season.

"Most clutch goal"

Farewell to the English language.

I was staying with a bunch of people in Philadelphia years ago and we went for a kick-around in the park. (Incidentally, this was great for my self-esteem: the only European playing football with a group of enthusiastic but technically untrained Yanks.) Anyway, at one point I played a simple one-two with one of my team-mates and someone exclaimed, "we're out-triangulating them".

I think we should use more Americanisms when talking about football, which should henceforth be known as soccerball. Not 'clutch' though. That's a rubbish word and not a useful concept.

When I started reading that post, I thought you were going to tell us about an injury time winner that you scored in the park.

Went over for six weeks, as an above average player, at 10 years old, in comparison to my school teammates and kids teams I played for. When I played against American's I was like George Best. I switched from a right back into a winger, dribbling past American's and going back for more.

Although they thought it was hilarious watching me being crap at softball and basketball.

Reckon Marcos Alonso used a clutch or automatic? Heard he avoids the gaols though.
