Following on from the previous post about old consoles. What game would you love to have remade, updated.
My all time favourite game FF VII has already been done, but i'd love to see a remake of the MJ Moonwalker game. Really enjoyed that dancing people to death and turning into a robot.
A few others to mention,
Desert Strike
Speedball, i think this could be done brilliantly on an modern console.
Cannon Fodder
Gauntlet.

How did we play with those FF7 graphics

The actual in game graphics arenot that bad, but some of the cutscenes left a little to be desired...

The visuals are backdrops are not so bad...the actual players and fight sequences though
Honestly forgot how clunky it was until this thread made me look it up. What a game though.

The progression from VII to IX in terms of cutscene quality is amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okkYd7s06jU
That one's slightly cheating as it's from the Steam version so it's cleaned up a bit but it still looks fantastic even running the original PS1 version.

The upscaled version of 9 for the Playstation 4 is gorgeous to behold, when you consider the three playstation entrants into the franchise and compare how they have aged its not even close, 9 blows the other two out of the water, so much so you could release the hd version tomorrow and people wouldnt bat an eyelid.
Dont get me wrong 7 will always be my favourite, but its aged, 9 hasent
