What's your plans for this fine Friday and weekend?
I have my regular family Zoom quiz tonight. Quite a big family and we rarely see each other from year to year but quite a few have been joining the quiz which has been nice. It back to my turn to host tonight which is fine as I love quizzing so have plenty of round available.
I am doing a Movie and TV round but the films and shows are described using emojis . Most are easy but some are tricky. I'm also doing a chocoltae bar round to see who the munchers are. I have taken a screenshot of a chocolate bar and then cropped it down so that only a small portion of the wrapper is visible.The other slightly different round I am doing is "Go Find Me". I'll give them an item they'll find around the house and it's a race to find one. I don't expect my wee Nana to any of them.
Will get the BBQ out over the weekend again when the sun pops out.
Back on the bike this weekend. I was supposed to be doing a 100 miles in June run challenge but been struggling with leg pain for the first few days so will change it to 100 miles a week cycling through June. It's a decent road bike so I'll get out and annoy drivers who hate losing 5 seconds of their drive time by having to obey the laws of the road and wait behind a bike until they can safely overtake.
More German football this weekend. I've been enjoying watching Dortmund and some of the great young talent they have. No way is that team staying together for the next 2 years, the big dogs will rip it apart with Sancho and Haaland gone soon and Hakimi back to Real.

I got good news earlier today young folk expeditions might be restarting
in July. New arrangements obs. Each have their own map & compass,
stove, gas tent etc. 100 x more dangers in the built environment than
outdoors. Good sign if it happens.
