Random article inspired by thinking about my club, Chelsea, and how Lampard seems to have turned us into a club liked from the outside. Some of these might be controversial.
Liverpool - packaged as main event faces but get booed everywhere they go (i.e. Reigns)
Man City - entitled main event heels
Leicester - relatable mid/under card babyfaces, transitional main eventers (i.e. Bryan)
Chelsea - overpushed main event heels (i.e. HHH/Orton) slowly turning face in the mid card
Man Utd - the ultimate polarizing main eventers (i.e. Cena)
Wolves - mid card heels who get cheered by portions of the audience
Sheff Utd - lower card faces getting a push nobody understands
Spurs - comedic, self-depreciating heels with strong main event potential (e.g. Attitude Era Kurt Angle)
Arsenal - main event tweeners turned sympathetic mid card faces
Burnley - pushed as faces but can't wrestle for sh!t
Palace - mid/lower card tweeners with a crowd popping finishing move
Everton - underpushed faces, potential for crowds to turn in the main event
Newcastle - relatable faces without any kind of push for years (i.e. Ryder)
Southampton - hardcore fan favorite turned irrelevant low/mid carder, phenomenal sellers (i.e. Ziggler)
Brighton - lower card guy no-one really hates
West Ham - obnoxious mid card heels, great for putting faces over (e.g. The Miz)
Watford - crazy, intriguing lower/mid carders who split the audience
Bournemouth - relatable babyfaces, held the mid card title for years
Villa - faces who work their way up & down the card to put heels over
Norwich - lower card nobodies known for a shoot a few years ago

Old school big six:
Faces- Arsenal, Man C, Liverpool
Heels- Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs
Up and coming faces- Leicester, Everton, Villa
Up and coming heels- Wolves, Burnley, Palace
Polarises opinion - Leeds Utd.

Also EPL would be far more entertaining with some WWE style trash talk.
A member of the away team should come out to talk to the crowd with a microphone before kick off, like Jerry Lawler at KOTR 96. Imagine Liverpool v Man U and Bruno comes out 15 minutes or so before kick off
"So here we are in Liverpool again, some say the best fans in the world... but in reality you're all a bunch of losers!"
Then he walks up to the front row to converse with a fan, "look at this guy, you smell a bit, wondered what that was, dipping again last night?"
The same for the after match interviews, saying how the opposition were lucky or not in the same league etc.
