Everyone on here knows I love Hendersn.
Nine years service and an absolutely amazing captain.
359 Appearances
28 Goals
48 Assists
1x League Cup
1x European Cup
1x Super Cup
1x Club World Cup
Not a great scorer of goals but a scorer of great goals. Some of his assists are as good as you'll ever see.

hes had a few assists this season, whats clear from that vid is he should have 3/4 times the amount, some right sitters missed after hes put it on the plate

Can't be true mate, I've heard countless times over the years he only passes sideways

Always had a love hate relationship with Hendo. He had that excellent season under Rodgers but then never backed it up until last couple of seasons. Glad hes proved me wrong.

He's an excellent leader. I'd probably say a better leader than Gerrard when you look at what you'd typically want from your captain. Obviously Gerrard was the better player, but I think he was more of an icon at Liverpool that made him the captain rather than his leadership qualities. Just my opinion.

Great captain & very underestimated player 👍

I still think him missing those few games at the end of the season are why we didn't win the league under Brendan that time (sorry, been drinking - can't remember dates) - far more than any slip imo.

people in darkened rooms may just whisper that you might just have a point there.
Gerrard dropped the head a few times over his career as different thing happened. I think you could see from a mile off him and carragher thought Hodgson was an awful mistake.
on the other hand on the big day he stood up and lead by example.

If you’d have said when he first came that he’d captain us to the PL & CL everyone would’ve laughed. I m glad he’s silenced most of the doubters at the club. He deserves every plaudit he gets.

Pretty much this. Always showed potential and then in 13/14 he brought consistency with it. It's been the same over the past 2 seasons as well. He's at the peak of his powers now and playing like a man on a mission. Full respect to him.

I was a critic of Hendo for the first 6/7 years of his time at the club. I think the biggest issues was that I, unfairly, compared him to Gerrard. What Hendo has proven, and more so over the last 2 seasons is that we are a poorer team when he’s not in it.
Happy to admit I was completely wrong and he is our deserved Captain.

Comfortably better than Fabinho. Never really done it for England though.
