Not Long Now

Welcome back everyone. I hope you are all welll and have survived the lockdown with your sanity unimpaired.

So just a few more days to wait. (And a few more before the cricket).

Feels almost as exciting as the start of a new season. Sad we won't be allowed into the stadium and will have to be satisfied with watching on our screens.

We resume as we enter the final straight in the leading pack. Can we finish with a place on the rostrum.? When we were interrupted I saw Fulham as our biggest rivals in the playoffs and expected them to take the third spot. Now, who knows? A lot will depend on how teams have have looked after themselves and prepared for the resumption. I wouldn't read too much into the Wolves result although it was good to see John Bostock smack one in from twenty yards. I hope he gets a few starts

We need to hit the ground running against the Wendies. Then take if from there.

After all those trips to Wembley back in the day it would have been nice to make my first visit to the new stadium but best not to get ahead of myself.

Roll on the 20th.

This is going to be very interesting, our home form has really let us down, some say that is due to ‘fan pressure’, without that element will we fair any better ? Of the top teams Leeds have the ‘easiest’ run in, with ours, Fulham’s and Brentford’s being very difficult, basically, whoever holds their nerve will probably prevail, for us, I personally think it is a season too soon, and if Sabri does stay, next season (assuming there is one), would give us more stability, but then throw in the nightmare of FFP, and it all goes back up in the air. It’s going to be interesting for sure.

I agree Dave. It probably is a bit too soon. But let’s go all out for it. If we go up and come back down we will have the sky tv money plus parachute payments with which to rebuild the Peter Taylor stand and the squad.

Hey again everyone,

Hope everyone's safe and holding up well. Weird to think how much we've all missed football when our last game was us getting embarrassed by Millwall. But god I've missed it.

People like to pigeon-hole the last 10 game run in as its own little season, and now it literally is! 5th on merit, 5 point advantage on 7th, and everything from form to fitness blended into a chunky mess across the division. 9 games of sheer chaos. Beautiful

Between Sow carrying a knock, and Watson tiring, and Silvas groin surgery, on paper this break should be the time-out our midfield need. Maybe Grabban has has time to relax and will come back with a clinical edge.

Also, For any season ticket holders out there that are taking the ifollow codes for both home and away games, might be worth checking your junk mail. I know alot of people's code emails have been clocked as spam by outlook.
