Absolutely bloody marvellous. That young man - I know, he wears the wrong colour of red - has made an achievement that will quite rightly remembered for years and years. He was clearly speaking from the heart. I note that he was generating support among Tory MPs as well as Labour, and presume it was only a matter of time before Boris and his tribe caved in to put food on the table for those youngsters in need.
I’ve always marvelled at his talent on the pitch. He is an absolute pleasure to watch, especially when he bombs up the wing with nothing or no one to stop him. On it or off it he seems to have the same attributes as Trent, a thoroughly decent young man who displays a maturity far beyond his years.
Will I be supporting him and his teammates as they try to get higher in the PL, possibly into next years CL?
Come on, there are limits.
At the end of the day he plays for ManU.

Well done Rashford. The country is indebted to such a fine young lad. He's done more for this country in a matter of days than Katie Hopkins has done in her whole life

Rashford is the model professional. 3 million meals a week in itself is such a massive action, but making it his sole mission to get government to sort out what is a awfully massive issue throughout the UK is just something else. Much respect.

It's good to see Rashford getting the praise he deserves. Not just on here but across the media.
He come across as an articulate, thoughtful and caring young man and has used his influence to improve the lives of thousands of children.
Like Raheem Sterling and his willingness to stand up and speak out about racism Rashford does himself, his family and the game great credit.

I agree that what Rashford has done is impressive and worthy, but let's not make a meal out of it.

I think personally a standing ovation at anfield after being subbed off as his team loses 3-0 would be the biggest honour the lad could ever get.
It must be said, his actions do him great credit whereas unfortunately its quite common to find selfishness and arrogance in the pro game.
A few stand out negatively but Rashford does himself, his club and importantly his family great credit.
talk of knighthoods says it all. what is it with that attitude as he didn't do it for honours.
Same as old tom moore never started doing laps of his garden. when people hand out that muck it is usually for cheap publicity or cronyism.
For ever 1 really deserved award on the lists there's 10 who are ill deserving imo.
like harry kane for example. all he did for it was play football and be well paid. Now I won't belittle him like others but I am sorry, thats not really worth a mention in the list is it. Its just not when someone else worked for little reward for 30 or 40 years of public service and they get nothing.

Didn't Harry Kane recently sponsor Orients shirts for the coming season. Don't belittle a man you know next to nothing about. I bet Kane gives more to charity than you do.

I think Rashford's efforts qualify him for the award of OBE or MBE, preferably OBE.
And the George Medal for Patrick too.

Yes, but his MBE was for services to football.
I've never understood honours for that sort of thing personally.
