TLOU2

Tomorrow is the big day, the day all of us TLOU fan boys have been waiting for 6/7 long years now. The sequel to the best video game ever, and we get to feck some clickers up all over again.

I haven’t been much of a gamer since I was about 18, but I’ll always have a soft spot for this game and have been counting down the days until it comes out. I was ecstatic when they announced its in development, I can’t remember how excited I was in a build up to a major video game. Probably GTA 5 was the last time for me. Or MW2.

I’m hitting Argos straight after work tomorrow to buy it, hopefully it won’t be sold out by then. I get a 6% discount through work as well. Who else is buzzing? Can you hold yourself? Are you gonna sleep tonight??

I don’t think I’ve been been as obsessed with a game as I have with this one. I was literally counting down the minutes for work to finish so I can get home to play. I can’t even be bothered with the story right now, there’s just so much exploring and crafting to do.

Exploring!!!!!?

Is this not a linear platform?

I must have about 50 letters in my inventory of different people that have documented their experiences throughout the outbreak. It’s so fascinating.

I think it's awful.

Well standalone it's an OK game, but nothing compared to the first one sadly. Story is way too long and dull.

The game just doesn't set up as well as the first one. I can't name any memorable moments so far, whereas from #1 I can think of so many different areas I had so much fun with (Ellie as sniper for Joel in the courtyard thing, the sniper against you shooting down the street, when you activate that underground generator and all the infected come running and so many more)

I'm about 80% of the way through but I changed the difficulty to light now because I've just lost interest.

Not going to ruin anything, it's only a week old.

But first half was solid, second half, like the comment above I just lost interest and it became a chore to finish.

5/10 and it pains me to write that.

Oh no not liking the reviews.

The one thing I don’t like about this game is playing that facking biiitch. Don’t want to spoil it but some of you guys know who I’m talking about.

The reviews I've heard from friends seem to follow what has been said on this thread mostly. Not a scratch on the 1st and they feel let down.
