With it looking increasingly likely that Aubameyang is off at the end of the season I wanted to get your thoughts on our number 9. Have we written him off completely, or is there a chance of him finding his form and consistently leading the line again for us?
Whilst being pretty woeful for the majority of the season, it's easy to forget it was only last year Laca was named our player of the seasion and was the main reason we pushed Aubameyang out on the wing. Granted he will never guarantee us the 25-30 goals a season we get from Auba, but at his best I've always felt his overall hold up and link up play suits us much better. If he can get us +15 goals in the league alongside the likes of Pepe, N'ketiah, Saka and Martinelli, who should all improve chipping in, do you think that's enough fire power to get us through the season?
If (and it's a huge 'if') we can get Laca back to the level of last season i'd rather we spent the Auba money on strengthening other areas of the team i.e. a proper centre mid or two, depending on who leaves, and possibly another centre back.
On a side note I've also been hugely impressed and admittedly surprised with N'ketiah since he's come back in January. He's always looked a lethal finisher but his overall play and work rate have been much better than I expected. We have two exciting young forwards in him and Martinelli, who will hopefully provide good options and much needed goals next season.

His first season was mediocre. But you could excuse it because it was his first year in a new league. He'd joined a team struggling for motivation under a manager who wasn't desired at the club any longer by most Arsenal fans.
His second year, he did pretty well, and was well-liked by many. Scored some big goals and made some important contributions in key games. However, his goalscoring record still needed to be better.
This year was the year he really needed to kick on and prove why we paid the £45m we did. He's been dreadful. Nothing has been coming off for him. He's not scoring, barely assisting and doesn't play with the same enthusiasm that he used to.
I don't know how true the rumors were that we blocked a potential move to Atletico Madrid, but it would certainly explain a lot of his performances this season.
In any case, I think it's best for both club and player that he departs.
He hasn't been a 'flop' - but he's not been as good as we hoped. 45 goals in 118 games isn't that great.

The Laca of Lyon used to be completely different to the one you have. He used to drift onto the left back Henry like but it seems to be that he and Auba just don't work in the same team.

Let's be honest, as a team we have regressed since Laca and Auba have joined.
Both of them in the team hasn't worked whatsoever.
Keep Laca and just use the Auba money and other funds on the MF.

If we sell Auba we could as well sell Laca and start over. We have Martinelli and Nketiah, maybe try with them and buy 2 very good players in other positions. They are young and we will have to be patient with them, but looking for future I think it's great for their development that they play regularly.
But I would be happy if we can keep Auba.
