that this team is going absolutely nowhere. I myself thought it should have won trophies, but after five years, it is patently obvious that the players are not up to it. They have let me down, and I will hold my hand up, and say I got it wrong, they are not the real deal I thought they would turn out to be. They peaked three seasons back, and have been going backwards ever since. Time for major changes.
With that in mind, I think a complete clear out is now necessary, get as much money in as possible, and invest it wisely, not on French players or other overseas prima donnas, but just hardened professional players that can hack it in the Premiership.
Every player now should have a price put on him, even Kane and Son. They along with all the over underachieving players have had more than enough time to prove as a unit, they can win things. No point in carrying on as it is. It simply is not working. Need to out this bunch of underachievers, and rebuilt from scratch. May take two or three seasons, but it has to be done.
I would be putting these sort of prices on them, whilst they are still worth a bit in the market.
Kane £150 million
Son £40 million
Dele £30 million
Moura £20 million
Ndombele £20 million
Lloris £20 million
Aurier £15 million
Davies £15 million
Dier £10 million
Aurier £10 million
Lamela £10 million
That is nearly £300 million. Spend it wisely on say half a dozen really proper hungry hardened professional footballers. Then build the team around them, and the likes of Lo Celso and some of the other younger players.
Added to that get rid of other squad players like
Winks
Skipp
Foyth
etc
who clearly are not good enough, and start bringing in young hungry teenagers, who have quality and desire, to bolster the squad.
Now obviously this is not going to happen overnight, but over the next three or four windows (two seasons), the whole squad needs changing that much is sure.
Of the current squad, not many would survive, maybe Lo Celso, Sanchez, Berwijn, Tanganga. Spurs really need to move on from the past five years. No point in changing managers, and keeping all the underachieving players.
Spurs have rebuilt plenty in my lifetime, this is just another rebuild, rebuilds don`t happen overnight, but it has to start somewhere.
Just changing the Chairman and Manager aint going to change a thing, if the same underachieving players are still there, all on easy street.
Finish this season off now, and start the rebuild before next season gets underway.
What is becoming evermore obvious

Please put a price on the club....
You've priced everything else.... although you have no idea what you're talking about.
What do you think ENIC could sell Spurs for now, Sandy?
Its the only way you and I will see our club win anything in our lifetime
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have seen Spurs win plenty Ted, but I don`t live in a dreamworld like lots of our supporters, who think this team is going forward, when it has been going backwards for close to three seasons now.
Changing ENIC, the Manager, Levy, the tea lady, aint going to change how poor a collection of players we now have. All need outing.
I am a patient man, and can await a rebuilt. I saw a relegation, and a rebuild. So not really new to me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw the game today, replay, watched everything twice.
I will agree the back four need a total replacement.
The refereeing was "not the best" especially Michael Oliver in VAR box.
Of those players on the pitch, I would keep (if they want to stay, a BIG IF).....
Sissoko,
Lo Celso,
NDombele,
Son,
Bergwijn
Lloris,
Kane,
Moura,
Lamela,
and maybe Alli (not sure).
I'd replace all the rest.
Now what will ENIC do?

The problem is your manager. He doesn't coach positional play, movement without the ball.
He relies too much on individual quality of the players.
The only thing what he coaches is defensive organisation.
Get Guardiola in charge of this team and you will see immediately an improvement how the players will move in pocket of spaces, passing between the lines and with Kane upfront he will score 30 goals a season.

Absolutely.

Honestly I can’t believe Son is on your list, the mind boggles. Have you actually watched us for the last 3/4 seasons?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Edbo, Son is one of the serial underachievers. When was the last decent game he had? He is just part of a team of bottlers, who lose practically every semi-final, and when they do get to a final, just roll over. They are gutless. I cannot remember the last proper decent game he had, he is part of the problem, just decorates, never influennces. Five years at the club, and what have the team won. Zilch. Kane is another, where he used to score 2, 3 4 goals a game, he is now reduced to 1 goal, and being pretty anonymous most of the time. They are all living in what they did three seasons back.
Start smelling the coffee mate. Team needs to change, and change bigtime.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember that goal Son scored against Chelsea in the 2nd league game at Wembley, infact remember the performance as a whole. Can anybody imagine our lot playing that well now. Where has the energy gone?

A major rebuild is needed, yes. It should have started in 2018, though. Instead, we got nothing for 18 months. We know the rest.

Said this to you a long time ago sandy Mate. This club and especially this team will never win anything.

"Not on French players"??
You mean, the same french players whom reached the final of the Euro 2016 and are currently world champions? Those french players?

You can't seriously think you're going to sell all of those players in one window and replace them with a fully new team, expect them to integrate and acclimatise to the English Premier League, and gel to build a competitive team. All in a relatively short space of time.
As others have mentioned, it's far cheaper to get rid of the manager and bring someone in who can get focus on your strengths, rather than do a mass clearout and think your fortunes will change ASAP.
Remember when you sold Bale and bought 7 players to go into your first team? How did that work out for you?
You need some degree of continuity. Aside from the fact that these ideas in the OP are never likely to materialise...

Need a complete clear out Don, and that includes Son and Kane. They have had plenty of chances. Need to cash in and rebuild from scratch. To many of our players live on the hype of about two good games a season. I want 7/8 out of 10 players for 30-35 games a season. Not one 10/10 game and 30 plus 3/10 games.

I didn`t say that, I said over a few windows, over two or three seasons. It is obvious it is not going to happen overnight.
