Does football reflect society ?

Obviously there has been lots said about the lack of BAME managers and coaches within the game, and how this doesnt reflect the diverse make up enthnicity of our population, but do the playing squads accurately reflect this either, and if not why do we think that is?

There are very few trans footballers or disabled players in wheelchairs. I also think more should be done to ensure over 60s are represented in every team as they make up a large proportion of our society. Also most teams are made up of footballers and footballers actually make up a very small percentage of our society. It is time that we started being more inclusive and having seamstresses and beauty therapists in each team as well as footballers to better reflect our diverse society.

Seamstresses generally make good creative players - their vision is sew, sew good.

Trans players too, versatile, , not confined to any role.

Usually willing to play in the hole but can also offer good penetration.

Some of them can be a bit crochety though.

I thought transvestites were players who swapped shirts at the end of a game. Have I had a sheltered upbringing?

Wait until you come across non-binary people, they're offended by a 1-0 scoreline.

Yet if it's the other way round, 0-1 cares.
