Turning point?

Tonight we go to Wolves in what is likely to be a very tough game.

Unusually, we go there as massive underdogs, with Wolves even money favorites to beat us with some bookies. I say unusual because it’s Wolves, and we are Arsenal, but apart from the names of the clubs, Wolves have been stronger in every department throughout the season and justify their favorite status.

It seems crazy that a club like Arsenal are considered outsiders against a club that were playing in the Championship only 2 seasons ago, but that’s how quickly they have risen and we have fallen. In fact the last time we weren’t favorites to beat a team outside the “big 6" was our 2-0 loss to Leicester, which signalled the end of Emery’s reign at the club. Could tonight be the night that signals the real beginning of Arteta’s reign?

I know Wolves have a clinical striker, a devastating winger, a powerful midfield and a solid defence, all of which we generally struggle to cope with. But I just have a strange feeling we will pull off a massive shock tonight. This is the game that could make Arteta, and give the squad the confidence needed to finish the season strongly and go into next season with a more positive outlook.

People will say we have nothing to play for but right now this team needs to instil some pride more than ever. Can tonight be the night or will it be another false dawn 😢

If predicting your team to not win a game, based on some perfectly valid reasons, discounts you from being a fan, then you are utterly clueless

If you couldn't see a scenario were we could win var a red then your knowledge is firmly in the gutter.

OK DJ.

Well, if you don't want to see me as a 'real' fan, then that's up to you.

To be brutally honest, I don't give a fack either way. It doesn't change anything.

Tbf you are a fan. An 02 fan, who thinks titles are minimum expectation and anything less is an absolute disgrace
A fan who supports Arsenal because of Wenger but also the greatest critic of Wenger.

The day I can't see a scenario where Arsenal can win a game is the day I give up on football. Maybe today was the day you should have walked away.

I have never, ever said I think titles are the minimum expectation. What I do want to see as a minimum expectation is a competitive side that can CHALLENGE for trophies. Based on our prestige as a club, our huge fanbase, our history and how much money we spend, I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation.

I grew up watching Arsenal during an era where we were dominant - do I find it hard to accept we're not at that level any longer? Yes. But the landscape of football has changed a lot since then, and other billionaires have decided to get involved with multiple clubs thus making competition harder. I am not oblivious to that. I am also not oblivious to mistakes we as a club have made along the way - Wenger staying too long being one of them.

Me saying 'I can't see a scenario where we win the game...' was caveated with what I said at the end of that same post. For some reason, you keep ignoring it.

Like I said, how you view me is irrelevant. I don't exist on here to meet your perceived standards of what an Arsenal fan should/shouldn't be.

Are you for real? How come a club like Arsenal won't win a game in a season?

FFS, even Dartford win few games here and there...

________

Stupid statement.... It's like saying the day there is no gravity on the earth is the day I will give up my life...

Football is a dynamic game...

You what? The day there is no gravity on Earth I will die.
But there will never be a day I can see no scenario where Arsenal can win a game.
