After a long time we're such a good watch

our defence needs improvements soon, maguire and DDG aren't good enough

apart from that it's looking good

We're stuck with Maguire for a while, unless all parties are willing to take a loss. Very doubtful.

So must find a suitable partner for him in defence.

Maguire is good but not great. He has some qualities, but can also be exposed easily on his weaknesses. And with an ever increasing unreliable DDG, this can turn more vulnerable for us in reaching our targets.

Both players are unmoveable for the foreseeable. We have to find ways to work around this, before it derails anything.

You say United wont win the league next year but I disagree. If Bruno stays fit United are title contenders. He is that good.

I think this game demonstrated our defensive shortcomings, we do need a CB with the calibre of Van Dijk

Someone like Matip. He's the real defender in the Liverpool team. Better than VVD.

Couldn’t have dreamed that he’d make such an instant impact, been a revelation

David de Gea - nearly making as many mistakes as the other (and lesser) top goalkeepers.
Harry Maguire - must be his fault that Utd have conceded a staggering 4 goals in their last 9 games in
which United are unbeaten - pure luck of course.
