Best away performance of the season...

Wolves have been flying, beat City home and away, so credit where it is due to the team, a superb winπŸ‘

I think it was very important that Lacazette came on, we were under pressure but when he took over as centre forward the ball went up to him as the target man and it stuck, his excellent goal was icing and will give him confidence πŸ‘

Saka was struggling in his position today and then BAM! The kid looks golden 😎

Torreira looked very sharp when he came on too. With him on, we didn't look like inviting any pressure in the final stages of the game. To be fair, everyone looked up for it today, the players look like they're fully engaged in Arteta's approach, and we actually seem to be able to hold a proper defensive shape for the most part.

The weird thing about our last couple of performances is that I've been able to watch Arsenal play without the fear we're about to gift the opposition a goal any second. I've actually enjoyed watching us play. Hopefully, we can keep it up and finish the season on a high.

Under Arteta we are actually a lot more solid

The lazy narrative by the pundits about the defence for years without actually looking at the midfield
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This. Watching our front players and midfielders energetically press and follow their opposite numbers is a joy - our defenders don't look like they're on their own anymore. That said, Luiz, Mustafi and Kolasinac all have a stupid mistake in them, so there's still a hairy moment or two.

Yes on the whole the defence hasn’t been the worse issue under Arteta. There’s only really been individual mistakes at the back, not total disorganisation like before. But pundits still seem to think we have a good midfield but terrible defence, they just spout the same trope they’ve been using at Arsenal for years, which once was true but not so much now.

Mustafi’s turn around under Arteta has been very impressive, he’s still got a mistake in him, but overall he seems to have developed into a solid defender. Something which you could never imagine saying under emery

I was very impressed with us today, was fully expecting a chaotic display. Managed the game really well and only gave wolves 1 or 2 dangerous moments. Arteta got the tactics and subs spot on, and the players coped very well with the physical challenge of wolves, were all professional and organised throughout

We would have lost that in last 5 years

I agree, we might have scored first but we'd definitely have conceded and probably been overrun.

I was actually thinking we needed a major overhaul after that Brighton game now they keep making us eat our own sheet am impressed especially by AMN who I have been slating and Willock has that Delle Ali in his game but Martinez looks absolutely rock between the post Leno must be very worried indeed.

Saka and Nketiah are so special talent am buzzing as a gooner to have these young core coming up nice to see Torreira back and Cebalos had a good game again all positives no negatives today let’s enjoy the rest of the season.

If Leno hadn’t got injured he most likely would have been top on saves.

Amazing! Arsenal actually out-hustled a team today, especially after they went up 2-0. FA needs to check what was being served up at the "water" breaks!

I thought the Maitland-Niles substitution was superb by Arteta.

Tierney looked intimidated all game by Traore and Wolves were beginning to dominate us down that side of the pitch. AMN came on and went toe-to-toe with anyone who picked up the ball on our left-hand side. I absolutely loved his ferocity, can't remember seeing him playing that aggressively before.

He's always nicking the ball straight of opposition toes, it's one of the things that makes him entertaining to watch, that and how well he runs the ball. Both skills have a nasty habit of leaving his opponent looking a bit of a muppet. Was captain smarty pants by Arteta putting him out there when he did.

Forced Traore to beat the defender with ball skills because he ain't running around him. Now Traore got so great ball skills but they aren't a patch on AMN's. As good as Traore is at taking players on, it's his pace and size that are the decisive factor in getting by people. As long as AMN has the bottle to stand in his way and stays on his toes, he'll frustrate Traore all day. For Traore, he's annoying as feck
