On Wednesday Wolves travel to the east midlands to take on Sheffield United.

Like Wolves in the previous season, The Blades have been the surprise package of the Premier League this term.
Chris Wilder’s side have exceeded all expectations and like Wolves last season are in with a shout of European football in their first season back in he top flight.

With their poor performance and poor result against Arsenal on Saturday, Wolves have pretty much forfeited their chance of Champions League football next season. However, Europa League is still firmly within their grasp and anything less than a point here will be a huge disappointment.

The reverse fixture produced a 1-1 draw and for Nuno’s side to better that they will need to be at their best because Sheffield’s home results tend to be good as their recent 3-1 home win over Spurs goes to prove.
Sunday’s away game at Burnley produced another 1 point for The Blades keeping them in 8th place in the table and just 4 points behind Wolves.

The game will be shown live on Sky Sports

Leeds have completed the £16m transfer of Helder Costa

That's excellent news

I wonder if Leeds think they're getting good value for money there? I think we saw the best of Costa back in 16/17, some of his football was mesmerising that season. The goal against Cardiff still stands out as one of the best Ive seen at Molineux in a long while. He really looked like a player that would light up the Premier League but injury at the end of that season seemed to take something away from him permanently and we only saw glimpses of the player he could be after that.

I think him and Cavaleiro were good signings at the time but neither good enough for where we are now. I think we did well to get what we got for them.

More importantly we signed Rúben Neves 3 years ago today. Now that was money well spent, and only a few bob more than Leeds and Fulham have paid for those pair

leeds fans don't seem to think so

Arsenal seem like the opposite to Wolves. They regularly take the lead in their home games but have now lost 11 points from teams coming back at them in the second half

Think they see 'potential' but for that money you want guarantees. He is shot mentally, you could see that towards the end with us, that is much harder to get back unfortunately. Great business from our point of view, neither he nor Cavaleiro have performed to their values this season.

Looks that way. Could see an argument for keeping Cavaleiro early season as an impact option given he was reasonably effective from the bench at times last season whilst Neto was settling in but that is about it.

if Leeds and Fulham get promoted, they could become a thorn in our side though. Still, we got a good wedge of money for both of them.
