Octopus energy

OK nothing to do with the PS4, but people seem interested in EV's, and the changes that are happening in the energy sector as a whole. and if I find something I think people might find interesting I post some of it here.

There are massive opportunities opening up, to not only use green energy, but allow that energy to be used most efficiently, not just for the grid, but customer as well.

This is a video about Octopus energy, a relatively new energy supplier to the UK, that uses green energy, but are also a driving force in advancing how people use and access that energy.

I have mentioned before how EV's, energy generation and it's use in general are all coming together to make energy use more efficient, this gives an idea of how some of that stuff is happening.

When I'm doing promotion and relegation next season. I might ask Admin2.

You really do admin. There is so much happening, and a lot of people are interested, I have nowhere to post it.

But I can appreciate it isn't as simple as you just adding a section, but it is one of the hottest topics around.

Don't bother...

...it will only be trashed by Liverpool fans.

Another interview with a company called Moixa, who are looking at how we integrate EV and grid power more efiiciently.

Basically all I'm trying to point out is that the EV revolution goes way beyond transport, but will fundamentally change how we use and think about energy.

Well I find it interesting

When will they admit wireless energy transmission is possible?

posted on 6/7/20

I don't know of anything about using wireless energy transmission on the grid. But there is plenty of research happening as far as EV's are concerned.

just one example.

It's possible, it's just crap because of transmission losses. There's a reason it's only really used for electric toothbrushes.

Nikola Tesla wasted a lot of time and money on it. Whilst Tesla coil are cool, they have sod all practical use.
