With Sane gone, would Salah be an ideal replacement? Not so much pace obviously but lots more goals. Given that Liverpool have won the PL now and can't expect to win it for best part of another 30 years he may well come but could he do it at a club where the expectation is success every season not once in a 3 decades? In front of the best midfield in the PL he would do even better.

OP it's a good shout but City will need to see whether Salah wants to join United before anything else happens - clearly United are first in line given recent form and as title favourites.
