The Demise of our beloved Club!

Firstly I'd like to say hello to all of you regular posters, I've enjoyed reading all you thoughts over the last few years (very rarely posting myself), some of you I agree with others I don't but I guess that everyone is entitled to their opinions!

So anyway whats happening with our beloved Spurs and why such a demise over the last 18 months. I really have a strong dislike for Liverpool (The media darlings) due to having a few mates that support them who are extremely arrogant when it comes to all things Liverpool, but I have to say I can't help thinking that if we'd gone in the right direction then that really could have been us, yes I am Jealous of their recent success.

Anyway back to Spurs and I think there is a combination of things that have contributed to our shocking demise over the past 18 months. Firstly, I always felt that although Levy has done a lot of good things for our club he has never quite gone the extra mile when he's needed to and this has been the case for years. The best time to buy players and improve the team is when you on the up and challenging but time and time again Mr Levy as failed to do this. I thank him for the best training ground and the fantastic new stadium but loathe him for the lack of investment and putting profits over trophies! (I'm sure most of us fans would have rather stayed in the old WHL but WON trophies.

The Players - Yes they have to some responsibility for there performances I agree but I think some have them have become lazy and started to believe their own hype and they have become stale due to a lack of competition for most of there places down to lack of investment. Their lack of effort on the pitch is inexcusable though!!

I loved Poch but saying things like 'I might have left if we'd have won the Champions League' didn't really help his cause when he hit a bad patch and the players did seem to stop playing for him. He did however say if we want to be a big club then we need to act like a big club and also said we needed a painful rebuild, again Levy failed to back him, and it looks like Poch was right in what he said.

Jose - I wanted a manager who'd won trophies once Poch had got sacked but said many times not Jose, as in my opinion he was past it 8-10years ago. I've seen some poor Spurs performances in my times but some under him really take the biscuit!! Yes he probably needs time to get his own players in but I'm convinced like a lot of you on here that he's not the man for the job.

Time for to say thanks to ENIC for a lot of good they have done but now your time is up, lets get owners in who put trophies before profits.

Thanks for reading and I hope I've not bored you.

You've called him a washed up manager before. Did a whole article on it.

Pretty sure the likes of Donald and Sandy were lauding our signings in the summer, both have now turned on them and don’t rate them. What they fail to realise is it’s the managers job to get the best out of the players. He sets them up. It’s not the players job to bail out the managers tactical failures. I wish there would be some consistency from some posters.

We have top 4 quality forward players and a relegation level defence. So if your forced to use what you’ve got, work to your strengths. Go out and conceded goals, just ensure you do enough going forward to win. Would much rather see us win 4-3 week in week out then win 1-0 thanks to an own goal.

Let’s be honest they are widely regarded as two of the least intelligent/consistent posters on the board.

If you bring in a manager who gets the players fit and builds team unity and cohesion along with a few good defensive options we would no doubt be right up there in the mix for top 4 comfortably.

You can see things aren’t right, going back you saw the players all pulled together and were a real unit. Instagram and Twitter was flooded with footage of them playing uno etc enjoying their time at the club. This dropped of towards the end of Poch’s reign no doubt but a new manager is meant to freshen things up. We’ve now taken to bickering on the pitch.

The siege mentality Mourinho creates is meant to be us against them. At spurs it’s a siege mentality amongst our own players and fans.

Like being a football fan is a test of intelligence. Most footie fans are like dim Tim's. I am an exception of course, being highly intelligent.
