Allegri was always my initial 1st choice, then Mourinho I was advocating for because I felt we needed someone who’s been and done it. Allegri would of been my choice at the start though.

Ok I’ll leave this with you. Give Jose next season. He wins the Europa league for us, meaning we finally get the monkey off our backs and finally land a trophy this club desperately needs, plus gain CL qualification through it, he leaves on a high, boosting his reputation and we then get Nagalesmaan the season after. Would you take that ? Or is you’re dislike for Mourinho that much, you want him out at all costs ?

If I could boot him out now I would but I know that’s not happening so if he can pick up a trophy next season then off course I’ll be happy but I’ll still be standing by style and enjoyment is top priority.

So in your scenario yes I’d take it.

No guarantees. People were saying the same about Wenger finishing in the top 4 until he didn't.
