On the bright side

- There’s no pressure on the remaining games because there’s no longer any toxic expectation.
- Jamie Vardy added another in the race for the golden boot.
- The players can learn something valuable from this experience.
- Nobody need care about any of the rumoured players leaving anymore.
- We’ve now seen enough of Ryan Bennett to know not to waste any more money on him.
- Next season would be a bad season to play in the Champions League because we likely wouldn’t be able to experience it first hand anyway.
- We could still qualify for the Europa league and the exciting European adventure that comes with it.
- We now have an insight into what it’s been like to be a Spurs fan for the past 5 years.
- Coronavirus infection rates are falling in Leicester.
- Looks like the weather might be nice this week.
- In a few billion years the Sun will grow to the size of a red giant, likely enveloping the Earth, and then nobody will remember yesterday’s match.

26 hours on from the worst capitulation in many years and a meltdown of epic proportions and we're...somehow still 4th. Best league in the world apparently

Meanwhile our FA Cup arch nemesis of yesteryear, Wycombe Wanderers, who's victory over us indirectly led to us having the worst decade in our history, are promoted to the Championship where they will probably play Bournemouth next season. Gotta love this game.

Tired of Leicester 'fans' whining and moaning, the Club don't deserve them.

Southampton made the strange weekend complete.

Three Cup finals to go.

C'mon Leicester

It’s the hope that kills you. Utterly kills you. I wish I saw life as positive as you True, but sadly I will rerun to my title season dark cupboard until the season is done!

You just need to get a grip, it's still been an excellent Season whatever happens, we'd have laughed if we were told we'd be in this position at the start of the season.

It doesn't matter how we're finishing it, the Season is 38 Games, not the middle bit or the end bit, it's where you end up that matters.

No excuse for Sunday but sh!t happens, sometimes it all goes wrong, it's how they react which shows their mettle.

Bit concerned he's talking about bring Maddison and Chilwell back for the Sheff game, they mad e Maddison worse rushing him back before, but look at the team, Right back out, left back out, centre back out, play maker out, ( Tilly gone missing this season ) we're not a team yet to have ready made replacements of the highest quality like the big boys have, just got to stand up and fight.

Lets hope to see fight from those available, that's all we can ask now, if we get to the last match with Utd playing for Cl that will be a f8cking fantastic Season.

Frankly some Leicester fans are embarrassing themsleves.

Well I totally agree with this Dunge. Getting to that last game with something to play for.

However I can’t agree with your analysis that you should judge the team and prospects based on the whole season and not form.

We’ve currently won 2 games in 18 (I think that’s right) and however you look at it, that’s pretty much relegation form and a real worry until we see Rodgers and the Players turn it around. Momentum is massive in football, as we saw with our slow and painful decline to league 1.

I like your optimism and outlook. And I am
Not as critical of Rodgers as some yet. But questions are starting to mount and so far he hasn’t had any answers. I’m sure you’ll agree he has to turn this form around -ideally starting at Sheff Utd.

Sorry True - not sure why I wrote Dunge then. Maybe Dunge is always on my mind now Koby doesn’t post as much!

The thing is with Rodgers he's a good Manager, nothing special and he'll have his faults.

I truly believe any half decent Manager can do a Great job at Leicester, it's an easy Club to Manage and we do have probably the best Owners in the League with one of the best starting eleven.

The problem we have is past the eleven, that's where the difficulty lies, it's the balancing game of getting high quality players in who either have to be better than our eleven or accepting of starting from the bench for a while.

That's where Rodgers succeeds or fails going forwards, I understand he doesn't have a great track record but it's what he does for us I'm interested in, along with the 'team' including Rudkin who control this area.

I wonder, not sure from memeory but when was the alst period we had the first eleven fit, no Vardy injured, no Ndidi injured, no Ricardo injured ( best right back in the League in my opinion), we seem to be a finely balanced team, lose a key player and it unbalances us, that's what he's had to contend with since Vardy got injured, given time he needs to get the balance in the squad as well.

He was touted as a God when we made a Club record consecutive run earlier in the Season, now he's dog sh!te to some, no, he overachieved earlier and now he's struggling, it evens out in 38 games.

We DESERVE to finish where we finish, if that's a CL League place, we fully DESERVE it.

Don’t disagree with any of that True. I’m not critical of Rodgers yet, but it is now his job to fix this form. If he can’t do that in to next season, that is his responsibility.

If he can do that, then credit to the man and the job he’s doing at our club.

I agree we deserve to finish where we finish. I’ll wait To see where that is.

That’s very well put indeed True. You’ve expressed it in just about the same fashion as I would have done. I have to admire you chaps who were present for much of the season before lockdown because of your first hand knowledge of events as they unfolded. It is too easy to chastise a team from afar, without actually seeing how injuries, absenteeism and form affects the side week in, week out.

I still maintain it would be a wrench to lose the runners-up placing as I knew there would be a struggle to secure one of the CL slots further down the table. I thought that at the time we were riding high but didn’t express it in words and therefore was not in a position to bookmark it and produce it today.
