I think mine of the biggest impacts is the improving of players which highlights the coaching behind the scenes. there has been a noteable improvement in players, both young and mature. Which explains why we are better in the second half than the first. Of course Bruno was the linchpin for making the team click, individually the improvements were happing also.

I’m delighted it’s just as though he has us moving in the right direction.

Still need to finish the job this season though.

As said above I’m glad we didn’t get Dybala or Eriksen. Doubt either would have worked out.

As much as people will denigrate this in whichever way they choose, you cannot underestimate the importance of momentum in football. Take Liverpool as an example - a lot of what they accomplished this year was down to the foundation they created last year. Teams were beaten before they player Liverpool this year, even though in my opinion in terms of the quality of the football Liverpool were better last year.
