The SFA are merely accommodating the arbitration. The process and people adjudicating on it will be completely independent of them.

Is it not the case that all 3 QC’s are from an SFA list.

Don’t know if they’re all QC’s, but both the SPFL and Hearts/PTFC choose from a list of 50 volunteers on the SFA list. They then choose the chair between them, who doesn’t have to be from the list.

No idea I only paid passing attention to the story. Remember reading the court referred the case to SFA for arbitration. Must have been wrong?

Without sounding unkind, you should probably have read past the headline to understand the process and you’d realise that this has no impact on the arbitration process. The SFA are merely accommodating the arbitration. The process and people adjudicating on it will be completely independent of them.

No, they’re not involved in it.

By accommodating it, that means supplying an office if necessary, or teas and biscuits.

To be involved in it, they’d need to be in the room and be in a position to influence the decision making. There’s only 3 people who will be able to do that, and Hearts and Partick have a lot more say in that than the SFA.
