The race for the probable three

Europa League spots through league positions in the Prem is really hotting up now. With both Spurs and Arsenal winning yesterday, it means that even Leicester now come into the equation, with Spurs within four points now, and still to play them at home.

As it stands
Leicester 59
Wolves 56
Spurs 55
Sheffield United 54
Arsenal 53
Burnley 51

Games to play
Leicester - Sheff United, Spurs, Man United
Wolves - Palace, Chelsea
Spurs - Leicester, Palace
Sheffield United - Leicester, Everton, Southampton
Arsenal - Aston Villa, Watford
Burnley - Brighton, Norwich

Both Arsenal and Burnley have the easiest fixtures to finish with and both should be picking up a maximum six points, An out of form Leicester have the worse set of fixtures, and could easily even fall out of the top six. Spurs have a couple of tricky fixtures, but are in reasonably good form. Wolves should win their home game, and then we are relying on Chelsea, to beat them at Stamford Bridge. Sheffield United have three games, that could go either way. So really up to Spurs to try to nail six points. Four points may be enough, but with Arsenal likely to do a bit of flat track bullying, may need to outscore them over the last couple of games, Spurs are I think three goals better of right now.

The last week is going to be mighty interesting. Definitely going down to the last games.

Jose's win percentage is 45% equal lowest of his career (with UD Leiria). 9% lower than the previous manager despite earning double the wages.

We’re on course to finish with our lowest points total since 2008/2009.

Jose
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That would be more down to the previous manager and the horrendous start he had for the first three months of the season.

Is the 0-0 against a rubbish Bournemouth down to Poch too Sandy?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Every manager is allowed one or two shockers. I could pick out lots of shockers under the previous manager in the past 12 months. Brighton 3-0, Colchester, Bayern 7-2, Newcastle at home loss, West Ham at home loss, Bournemouth away defeat, etc, etc.

At Mourinho’s current PPG we would be on course for 64.9 points.

Which would be our worst points total since 14/15 and we had already played City, Arsenal, Leicester and Liverpool away.

Jose
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And won none of them. At least Spurs have beaten City and Arsenal under Jose, with Leicester still play.

There are supporters on here that have had it in for Jose from the get go and will never be truly happy with him in charge unfortunately.

Honestly the ante Jose agenda is a complete joke on this board.

Potless Poch has addled your brains fellas.

Admittedly this is true. I don't like him I don't like the way he treats people/ has treated people. I particularly don't like watching his teams play football. Do you remember the CL semi final years ago when Iniesta scored that goal at Stamford Bridge that dumped Chelsea out? I have never celebrated a non Spurs goal like that one absolutely brilliant and that was mostly to do with Mourinho and his "philosophy".
He is an articulate, clever guy there's no doubt about that but he will never win me over (CL league double could be persuaded)
Look we will have to just agree to disagree in a way I respect you for giving him a chance as I just dont think I can.

If he wins trophy mate, I’m sure your attitude will change.

Morning Ted, good win last night. Jose right up their in the top four teams since he was appointed.

If Mourinho can get Ndombele to play, so we don't have to depend upon Winks in midfield, and keep Toby in form, then maybe a 6th place finish is possible.
Have to hope the Arsenholes win the FA Cup!
