That’s how I feel guys and I can’t help it to be honest. I should be over the moon with a good response against that defeat but, I’m neither happy nor sad - I’m just a bit meh. As I posted elsewhere, part of me facking died after that Bournemouth game. It’s one of the worst moments in our recent history for me - the manner of it just stunned me completely and I haven’t really gotten over it.
After watching that capitulation, I just can’t get excited that top 4 is still a possibility for us, nor can I shake the overriding feeling that something isn’t altogether right. Might sound daft with Leicester sitting 5th, but we are a boom and bust club and I feel bust is coming. Don’t know why, I’ve just felt it for some time and I don’t think a solid win against a poor Sheffield United team convinces me that our problems are solved
Put simply - I can’t just forget about the last 4 months. There’s a reason that happened and a reason that I think a bad cycle always feels around the corner with Leicester after a good spell.
5th will be paraded as an amazing achievement but you have to look at the context of the season as a whole. I hope the club can learn from this, can look to recruit better, build strength in depth and also work on the players mentality. If not I do worry about next season with european football now guaranteed

Surely even if you finish fifth that's a positive and shows progress which can be built upon? If you'd have been offered this position at the start of the seasons you'd have jumped at it. A win and a draw from the last two games and you're in the CL, provided United don't win the next game by 3 goals against West Ham.

Still a possibility all 3 teams involved in battle for 3rd and 4th could get CL football. We could win the Europa League and we are scoring goals for fun. It is amazing we are level on points when we were 14 points behind not so many games ago on same games played and a giant difference in GD.
