Wonkers.....

Looks who’s try to pi55 on our parade this morning.... bit desperate and untimely from Brighton.

💬 "We see @ben6white
as part of our plan.

"Everyone won, he got great experience and @LUFC
got their goal of promotion.

"We rate Ben highly, I've followed his career closely, we like him a lot.

"We'll see him in pre-season and he will be part of our group."

He’s their player fair enough, but fekk me could have waited.

Agree if he’s not a Leeds players will be playing somewhere better than Brighton.... reckon £25m bid should do it

He doesn't want to go back to Brighton. He was singing 'Sign him up' along with the rest of us last night

A deal could be done with the right numbers.

As giddy as you all are right now you need to probably reign in your expectations financially. Clubs that go up dont have £25m to throw at a single player, if they did then every promoted club would be splurging like it's the January sales. Your first objective is to build a squad to survive. As good as they've been in the Championship, some of them won't make a dent in the Premier League. The class gulf may surprise a few.

Add the financial impact of Covid into the equation along with the players you're now contractually obliged to pay for, unless you get the rumoured Qatari investment then you will need to box clever in the market like everybody else. Not wanting to pee on any bonfires, just saying you should maybe temper your expectations until you've established yourself back up.

It won’t be £25m upfront - probably over four years at least.

However we won’t have money to burn next season unless we get major investment, which in all honestly could very well happen - we are attractive to the money men now.

We shall just have to wait and see how things pan out.
