Which is more of a prestigious trophy

The League Cup (Carabao Cup) or the Club World Cup

Vote 5* for League Cup
Vote 1* for Club World Cup

I think it's the league cup. It's a proper trophy even it's less prestigious than the League, CL and FA Cup. the Club World Cup is basically a charity shield tournament that the European team will win every time unless they seriously screw up.

I think some Liverpool fans think the Club World Cup is bigger though...?

So it’s one trophy. Thought the European Super cup was a qualifying factor to be the continental champs and then play versus other continental champs but I was wrong.

Also the world club cup will be expanded to include europa league winners and runners up from both CL and EL...

More clubs will care about it.

Deleted because I think it's strange to turn a footballing discussion into some kind of politics/nationalism/race issue

oh, is robbing pulling his "if your answer is the LC you're racist" argument again? yeah, that's a good one.

How does that argument work then?

his 2nd comment was deleted, but i assume it was a rehash of his first:

Is there anything more gammon in this context than thinking the English league cup could be bigger than playing the champions of every continent on the planet?

A little humility when you think you’re right is generally helpful if it turns out you’re wrong

Missed that.

What a mess. Seemingly can’t actually read the question.
