New Manager

I like Sabri but I don’t like his Football.
I love Forest but not the director of football.
Or several of the scouts. Have they been to see the players they’ve recommended?
I don’t like the constant change of manager, but if it’s not right it needs fixing.
Mr Marinakis is supposedly a shrewd business man. But I think someone has skanked him where Championship football is concerned.
Attacking football played with desire and confidence is I feel the way forward.
Let the opposition worry about us. Negative tactics have been our undoing.
Goodness know what the moral must be like.
We need a passionate motivator that believes in the players. Who can stir them and the supporters.
My shout is Paul Cook and I’ll state it now he’s a winner.
If he ends up at a club that can back his ambition, He’ll get them promoted.
No big time Charlie’s with him. I think we’ve had enough of em.
We have the basis of an attacking side. We have to build around it.
Grabbon is a goal poacher and he’s being turned into a workhorse.
One up front alone and at home !!!!!!!! I think he’s a class player who, remarkably, has still managed to score a good tally of goals.
We also need a captain who can read a game and dictate. That sort of player you pay a small fortune for. Not like some of the players we have brought in on apparently excessive wages.
Once again we have brought in quantity instead of quality.
However it looks like we will stick with Sabri. I hope he has learnt and can adapt. And in that case he needs to be given more control over who is brought into the squad.
The abundance of different coaches for different aspects of the game must be confusing. If you can’t trap a ball confidently under pressure and pass to a red shirt all the tactical stuff goes out of the window.
If you can’t find space and if you can’t pick a pass, what good are tactics.
If you make the same mistakes over and over again, then questions have to be asked about the coaching.
If Steve Hodge, in the commentary box can see it, then
why can’t the Forest Coaching staff in the stands ?
Well that’s got that out of my system.
Hopefully see you all at the City Ground in September circumstances permitting.
I don’t moan there. Total commitment to the cause.
Best wishes to everyone and their Families
These are difficult times.
Stay safe 👍👍 You Reds

Thanks Rev Still spitting feathers actually.
I thought at the time when we played Swansea at home and Sammy Ameobi was having one of his games where he just clicks. Why take him off ?
My mate said we’re resting him for the playoffs. To which I replied we’re not in the f...... playoffs !!!!
But we could be if we had left Sammy on !!!
And to me that summed up the last few games.
I know it’s going over old ground now but unless that mentality changes, we may just struggle to be anywhere near good enough next season as teams had us sussed.
Bloody Football 😡

A lot will depend just on who’s still at the Club when the season starts, who’s brought in and who’s gone?

The definition of insanity is something on the lines of ‘ doing exactly the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different outcome’, certainly summed up Sabri’s approach toward the end, why could he not see what everyone else could ? I hoped he would learn a lesson from the Charlton game, resting players, but to me he didn’t learn, guess we’ll have to give him the first half dozen games and see if things are any different, if they don’t I predict he will be gone by Christmas.

I think this idea of waiting to see how he gets in isn’t the best way

No doubt about it, a lot of Forest supporters will be still angry and frustrated by the start of the season, they’ll just be waiting for the first negative sign or late goal to explode and demand the managers neck

In think we should either make a decision now on realising that the manger has his ideas and that’s he’s going to do it his way, and just either accept it for the season

Or decide that his tactics are just plain wrong and make the change before the new season starts

Sacking a manager half way through a season very rarely does the team any good

I think if we start the new season ‘giving him till Christmas’ It’ll just be another wasted season
