i disagree on that, fans are a deciding factor on a lot of the clubs income like sponsors etc. You dont go around paying influencers to attract some if they werent would you?

On field success builds the fan base which in turn leads to attracting sponsors. That's why City now have fans from all over the world and they are growing every year.
That's how the other big clubs attracted fans too.

Investment > on field success > increase in sponsors/fans

How's Barclays abuse of the financial system?!!! Barclays didn't want to go to the UK goverment so borrowed private liquidity.

If you have a mortgage are you cheating the housing market because you borrowed money?

So I googled it, read an interesting article by the FT, yet am still at a loss to any misdemeanor. Care to share why this is so bad?

A ridiculous number of idiots who either haven't read the CAS judgement or perhaps cannot read yet know the 'truth' about City.
