Could have done with his goals from midfield last year I thought. Certainly better than having Jack and Kamara next to each other against teams sitting on their box.

But not at the level for us clearly and Gerrard doesn’t fancy him so should move on

The problem with selling someone like Docherty is that most of his suitors will be Scottish premiership clubs and they can't afford what Rangers paid for him.

A loan probably suits them and maybe even Docherty himself but I'm not sure its what Rangers would want.

Ideally English championship or league one come in. I reckon if Rangers got break even on what Hamilton were paid he'd be allowed to leave

The lad is a decent player. Probably Hamilton direct to Rangers was just too big a leap.

Agree he'd do fine at most Championship clubs.

I’m not sure we paid that much for him , but it’s obvious he won’t be getting any game time , I think Mccrorie could definitely do a job but we have plenty in midfield even if we had a spate of injuries
