The Chelsea owner isn’t even the richest man in Moscow let alone Russia so for a man only worth less than £5 billion and a dwindling cash reserves how does he keep spending like ATM is out of fashion unless he’s a Putin man in London doing Putin’s bidding to influence GB politically.
Chelsea unlike the othe two petroleum backed teams in PSG and City do spend without care they surely must be backed by Russian govt and their agendas.
If I were Chelsea fan I couldn’t care less but the GB govt must consider them some kind of a Russian trolls bent on stopping any criticism or risk losing all that ridiculous investments just saying.

Transfer ban yet the still managed to get Kovacic and Pulisic. The ban was what like 1 season hardly earth shattering.
The likes of Arsenal and Spurs have had self imposed transfer bans due to building their own stadiums.
