I think it's pretty obvious werner is going to be our number 1 striker, so who is going to be number 2? At this moment in time I'm struggling to look past giroud. Finished the season very well, used to being on the bench and has a proven track record of making a difference from the bench. The big one for me is that he offers a different type of threat when chasing a game. Think that leaves a very big question mark over tammy, does he have the drive, determination and quality to battle for 2nd spot? He probably sees himself as deserving to start and I can't see it being too long before he is looking elsewhere, a Jan loan move to villa would be no suprise to me at all

Tammy put us in a position where we can be fighting for top 4 in the first place, with his goals. Scored the most non-penalties and away goals.
That stupidly gets overlooked.

Without Tammy, we don't make top 4 last season.
4th was the position we were in from matchday 10 until the end of the season (three-quarters of the season).

Giroud is much better than Abraham, who's not a top level striker. Giroud has something to offer Chelsea, Abraham doesn't.

Of course it¡s got to be Tammy, Giroud has been invaluable to us since he arrived, but we, and he know that he was a stop gap,and he is still there for us when needed.
Have to admit I think that Tammy and Timo will spur each other on, and be good for each other.
Exciting times coming ,lets just be patient and give all the guys time to get to know each other.

Poor Giroud
His form dragged you into top 4

Hmm he was good. But pulisic was the standout

Giroud second choice for me. Tammy still learning and hoping he can battle into the team again but not sure he is good enough

In addition to my earlier post about Tammy' strong mentality, what I'm most pleased about is our current young players don't have to put up with Hazard's low-grade mentality.
Would have rubbed off on them, which would have been disastrous.
Don't want to see any half-arsed player strutting about the place.
I hope none of our young attackers ever pick up on his bad habits of...turning up to the season chubby/overweight, constantly going through the motions, downgrading ambitions, playing within their comfort zone (handbrake on) and content with plateau.
Eden Hazard 29 years old, yet to make a dent in the CL
