Wow what a debut. Very solid in the tackle and in the air. Good passing range and composure. Reminds me of prime Rio Ferdinand.
Very excited to see him for the rest of the season.
I am starting to change my opinion on Arteta. He has certainly improved us and we should be aiming for top 3 easily.

Very impressive in his first gamein the PL, but then again it was Fulhams first game in the PL as well after their promotion. Impressive but I wont get carried away....yet.

I would prefer he plays on the left. Hopefully Luiz is back soon

Brilliant debut. Started nervously and made a couple of errors which could have resulted in goals, but recovered and did well for the rest of the match. Certainly our defence is a lot better than Liverpool's.

Funny though isn’t it? If one or both of those errors had resulted in goals, even if he’d carried on to have the game he had, you’d have fans calling him the next Mustafi instead of the next Rio.

Comments make no sense "started nervously, nearly conceded goals, but a brilliant debut" ????? Oh, I forgot this is a Gooner with the usual we are challenging or we are rubbish, depending on the last result.

Let's not go overboard.
Remeber all the hype with ceballos after his debut

A Gooner with some sense. Others please note.

Ceballos had a very good first season though.

Started shaky, reminds me more of David Luiz/ Wric Bailly than Rio

Seeing as people are seeing/understanding just how good he is now and we were desperate to have him back here again this season, Dani is probably not the best example to choose to make that point
But yeah people need to calm down a bit. Gabriel couldn't really have had an easier PL game to debut in. I'm chuffed to bits for him because it's great for his confidence. But I sorely doubt he'll look quite so impressive having to stop KBD and Aguero or Firmino, Sala and Mane. Great start for him but don't get too excited because you'll all only slate him harder when he inevitably makes mistakes later.

Spurs have gone from a title challenge to a relegation battle in one game
