RFC 4 DUFC 0

I saw the game up until the first goal and then switched it off, not because i didn't want to watch the rest but I was in the pub and apparently I was being 'anti-social'.

Worked out well for me in the end.

Ultimately I could have wrote this article prior to the match. We worked hard, pressed well, but ultimately lacked quality to ever really threaten the Rangers goal. We need quality reinforcements.

I believe there was a bad tackle from Edwards, who apparently looked well off the pace throughout (probably because this was apparently his first full 90 minutes since New Years Day). I've only seen stills of it and it looked bad and probably worth a red, but still pictures can be misleading.

Again this leads back to the quality argument - if the players are off the pace, either through lack of fitness or lack of quality, then they'll make bad challenges because the other players are too quick for them (either in foot or in mind).

Hopefully as we go into a run of games against teams who will be around us in the table we can start to pick up points again. I think any hope of a top six finish won't be recognised with the current crop of players so these are the games we need to win to make sure we keep distance between ourselves and the bottom of the table.

I would far rather buy from the club than steal from them. It just has to be made easier so people can do it without vpn's.

Well that "performance" was awful. As I said in the other thread the front five could have been dug up from the Howff and they would have offered more.

Is Edwards joining the likes of Alsford, Benneker and Darren Patterson? If he isn't match fit I would have played Butcher beside Reynolds. Butcher, Harkes, Pawlett, Clark and Powers midfield and front, I never want to see that line-up again.

So much so I would go for the next match:

Seigrist
Freeman Butcher Reynolds Robson
Bolton Neilson Powers Sporle
Shankland Appere

Neilson can come away with the ball in midfield. Not one so far has done that. For playing a sitting midfielder that "protects" I'm still to witness that and looking at the goal difference it is a joke.

Harkes is a kiddy on footballer. Sooner him Pawlett and Clark are away the better.

That's us away on Sunday, on Sky again

Kind of a nonsense stat when it misses out the cost of Sky anyway.
