Hey all.
Just watched both series of Take Us Home. It was enjoyable whilst heartbreaking and bittersweet.
I’ve finally found the strength to watch after the hurt from 2018-19 season. That season was so up and down and the pregnancy hormones were ridiculous. I was 28 weeks during that Derby playoff match (even got elbowed in the stomach when we first scored - she’s fine, don’t worry!)
Cried like a baby for Norman, Trevor and Jack.
Reminisced with LIW about him nearly throttling Ava when Pablo scored against Swansea, felt regret that we couldn’t be there with the team for those final games and hate that we missed those celebrations.
One thing that I’ve taken from it is that COVID-19 has robbed us of so much last season but we have each other. All of us. We weren’t together In person but we’re all together in our hearts.
I am so proud of this team, the backroom staff, the management and the fans (for most part!).
So a song for remembering those that have gone. They won’t be forgotten. I’m not always so emotional but so much has happened over the past few years. We keep marching on.
We love you LEEDS.

5 stars and even more for the banter that followed
On the series I always feel better about the club seeing their take on stuff and it makes be feel we are in good hands none moreso than Bielsa. Managers work hard across football but this guy will do whatever it takes to improve players, facilities and anything that gives us an advantage. His approach to football and life in general is fascinating.

I miss his hugs when i’d unexpectedly see him on the Headrow or at ER near the turnstile under N7.
