...that appeared to be the logic for the left footed gvardiol - but that money now seems to have gone on Lorrente who's right footed and covers right back and defensive midfield too apparently. So ticks some different boxes.

Looks like a good buy on paper, experienced at a high level and in his prime.

My wishlist would be keeper and a 10/pablo replacement ...left back would be next on my list.

great news this, yes Milks, would defo be looking for a LB..

I guess you have to draw the line somewhere, I always took the stance that I don't want to go full Villa and replace too many of the squad that dominated the champioship for two years (in style I might add)..

getting the balance right of adding quality but not going full Villa is key for us.

De Paul....one year to bed in as Pablo’s ability to last 90 minutes continues to diminish.

De Paul will come clearly with the intention of relegate Tyler Roberts to 3rd choice.

Sadly, for Tyler, like Barry Douglas, it’ appears to be for whom the bell tolls.

I worry with Covid and us spending so much. However I think it’s imperative we stay up this season so it’s probably worth the risk - as well as the £90m parachute payment if it goes belly up.

For me I like James and could see him developing under MB. De Paul I don’t really know much about but he sounds like an upgrade in the number 10 role and could maybe learn a bit from Pablo too.

I thought Rodrigo was a possible number 10 but we shall have to wait and see what MB does with him. He’s certainly not going to shift Bamford if the first two games are anything to go by.

As for Kent - I think we could do more with £20m and James on loan would be my choice.
