Good for Abraham for forcing himself back into the side with his effort midweek. And it’s interesting that Christensen went straight back in after his ban. I guess he is first choice to play with Silva now.
Alonso is there until Chilwell is fit enough, and we still have Pulisic and Ziyech to return within a week or two. Let’s see who can keep their place in the team.

Decent team. I would have started Zouma over Christensen and Azpi/Emerson over Alonso. I would be interested to see if we play a narrow formation today in order to accommodate Werner and Tammy up top together. It may suit the players better than forcing players out wide who aren’t necessarily suited there

Zouma is definitely better in the air, but Christensen is better on the ground. Swings and roundabouts I guess. Maybe Silva had a way in who her prefers to play with.
And without specialist wingers, it may be more important for our full backs to attack - that in itself may be an argument for Alonso. It does seem clear that Emerson is going to be first out the door, so I wasn’t surprised to see Alonso there. I assume Chilwell will start on Tuesday.
