It’s clear that we need to add to the squad this week but do we think there is any possibility of us shifting the dead wood?

There’s too many players clearly not in the managers plans here.

Rojo, Jones, Smalling, Dalot, Pereira

Then there’s more that would probably be let go for any kind of decent offer.

Mata, Lingard, Romero

My prediction is that we will reach a deal with someone for Smalling and Romero will go somewhere also but we will be stuck with the rest.

Some talks now that Dan James could be loaned to Leeds if we get someone in.

Would make sense.

Leeds united playing so well.
Bielsa has improved them tremendously

our wing play is poor compared to some smaller clubs. I dont see anyone whipping in that cross for the leeds winner

Amazing that we weren’t relegated last season.

Our short pass completion, ball retention and possession stats, are, as you’d expect looking at last season’s league table, actually amongst the best in the league.
